i mean a massive solar flare that could wipe out all communications or worse some point this year?|||Yes, it happens between 10 and 20 times a year, it is nothing to worry about. Occasionally it disrupts communications around the poles but apart from that it doesn't cause any major problems.|||A solar flare stiking would only temporarily affect electronic systems, the stronger it is the longer the world must recover.|||It is unlikely, but not impossible.|||Solar flares a near constant in space weather, especially toward the stages of the solar cycle when they can be at times a daily occurrence. A very severe geomagnetic storm could temporarily disrupt communications and power grids, but this isn't too likely. Wipe them out altogether? Contrary to what you might have heard from some of the hysterical 2012ers, no. You've already been through numerous solar flares and CME impacts since last year, yet our respective infrastructures appear to still be intact.|||the past does not always dedermine the future. It may happen even though it is an unlikely event.

This zombi character pics the stories that suit whatever he wants to believe and ignors the facts, then he goes on to humiliate the people who dont agree with him but His answers dont make any sense at all. Weirdo wacko jacko that oke

I have seen work of others that have said that there may be such a solar flair and it could have atrocious consequenses. That is prob what got you intrested. It is possible|||I'm sure there will be more. The sun has been doing this for a long time and it doesn't look like anything will ever change.|||Solar flares happen all the time 鈥?dozens per year, for the entire time the Earth has existed. You've lived through hundreds of them, at least. Have you ever noticed any damaging effects before?
