I had my cars cruise control set at 70mph and it dropped down to 60mph while going up a hill (not a really steep hill) and stayed there when it evened out. Any ideas?|||It doesn't really matter what engine you have with cruise control, the point of it is to change gear and throttle position to maintain a constant speed, so the fact it dropped suggests a system fault.|||You have too small of an engine for the load on that grade or are in too high a gear.
