Is there a way to set x axis (1 to 256 or 0 to 255) on ie blue histogramof an image to be wavelength? y axis is not of importance...|||I am not sure I understand your question or how you are constructing your histogram since you say the y axis is not important.

Light Histograms usually have wavelength on the x axis and Percentage of the total amount of light on the y axis. Then the total area under the curve (or bars) is 100% of the incident light. To find the amount of light of a given range of wavelengths, find the area bound by that range of wavelengths
