I have a paycheck to prove I worked here (I was seasonal) and I plan on staying and also I got my income tax forms. Do I have to go to the DMV & apply for a license or something ?|||By living there. That's it.|||You prove youre a California resident by actually living there for a specified amount of time, not just for a summer or during a school calendar year. You must live there every day all year round for whatever time is required to gain residency.
