When 2 teams played once in the reg season and now play again n the post season. Is it harder to beat a team twice in 1 season?|||I personally say the team that lost in the regular season may have a slight advantage because of the fact they know what to do better the second time around. This is only the case if the teams are close to evenly matched. If one team is clearly better, then they always have the advantage.|||Listen, the Jets beat Peyton Manning and then Tom Brady only to lose to an average quarterback like Ben Roethlisberger. The Giants have beaten Aaron Rodgers and Alex Smith (who isn't an elite quarterback, but good enough to win games) and now face Tom Brady again. Do you think Tom Brady has forgotten about the last Super Bowl? I don't, and historically, it's very difficult to beat Brady three times in a row.|||Historically speaking, the better team always has the advantage. That said, Mutt Manning is walking around lucky right now so he may pull off another miracle against the Pats.
