For example, in my music folders I've got it divided into genre, and then further divided into artist. When I open a genre folder and try to change the view from, say icon to list, then the music folder automatically adopts that view. I want to change and keep the settings in certain folders without it affecting the main folder.|||i don't really have that problem on mine... each folder tends to stay as it is without changing all of them usually... try opening opening the ones you want to change as separate windows then changing them, then closing them, maybe they'll keep then.... i think thats how i did it. if that makes sense. open in new windows and change and save.
