At my last job, I worked there for almost 2 years and a month as a hostess/busser at a restaurant (this place had a high turn over rate). I got fired, because of miscommunication (I asked if i could leave and i did not get a direct answer). I know I do not want to put that I got fired on the job application or resume, but what can I write down instead of i got fired without lying.|||I think a better word than 'Fired' would be 'Released' or maybe 'dismissed' or even 'let go'.
If you have enough work history without lapses I would just leave that particular job off of an application.
