Took out a payday loan I was never issued anything saying I had to gonr to court but they are tellin me if I dont pay the creditors or who ever they sent my account they will issue a warrant for my arrest|||I think you may be confusing a warrant of arrest as to a 'DISTRESS' Warrant. This allows a bailiff to attend your property to identify / seize goods and chattels to be sold to pay the debt - you will also have a CCJ - Talk to your creditor - if you cant pay you will need to come to an arrangement with them.|||You CANNOT be arrested for failure to pay a debt. That is what the civil, not criminal, courts are for.
