I want to make either a Roman, Greek, or maybe just a unique steel helmet. How do i do this, what kind of materials or welding stuff do I need?|||If it just has to have the "Look of metal" I can tell you how & it will look just like hammered metal & not weigh a ton if you decide to wear it. We made these using cardboard, paper towels, acrylic paints and a nice pattern from a sketch. Metal Smithing takes a lot of practice and is not some quickie craft you can pick up on an afternoon of boredom.
