A. A scientific theory cannot be accepted until it has been proven true beyond all doubt.
B. A scientific theory must explain a wide variety of phenomena observed in the natural world.
C. A scientific theory should be based on natural processes and should not invoke the supernatural or divine.
D. A scientific theory must make testable predictions that, if found to be incorrect, could lead to its own modification or demise.|||hahahahah is this for ASTR 152 OL with Choudhary???|||A B C.
Only D is part of a good scientific theory.|||B|||A -- No good. Not all theories are factual, nor are all theories non-factual.
B - Is kind of right, though I'd argue with the "wide variety" part.
C - Absolutely correct, the divine has no place in science.
D - Is part of the actual definition.
