In a person's own chart; in synastry, etc.
The square I find to not be overly challenging, just because usually it will involve the same modality of the planets involved, giving them some common ground at the very least.
The quincunx formations usually involve two energies that have absolutely no common ground; IE different elements, modes and houses that seem to contradict each other.
What are your thoughts?|||In my experience the quincunx is such a subtle aspect that I can't even say that it's effect can be compared to a square. The square gives the native challenges to overcome via discipline and patience. The quincunx seems to represent a hint of a characteristic that may be apparent in the native or those they deal with, as well as occasional irritations they may have to contend with.|||are we going to accept some freaking "very basic" but "solid" rules in astrology or is it all free to interprete things in any way you want?
if you tell me a few things like 1+1=2 and then 2+2=4 how can you deny 4+4=8 ?
why is square is square phd my ***? explain that. but if you go like, square is bad because it is square and square is bad because it's 90.... you are freaking medieval scholastic bull.
it just "should" be worse than square, quincunx aka inconjunct... wait for it.... "IF THERE'S ANY LOGIC IN ASTROLOGY".
if not, then just blah blah all day like a man gone crazy in prophetic astral hysteria or something.
