I'm dj'ing a 50th birthday. I normally play trance and dance but I'm playing some variety of stuff. What are good songs that people want to hear that are regularly requested at parties? Thanks.|||The Foundations - Build Me Up Buttercup, they'll all know it, they'll all love it no matter what generation!|||play some songs from that time era, 60s and 70s rock songs, a few updated songs from today(for some of the younger crowd and believe me some older sones will probably dance), some common line dance songs( lime Cupid Shuffle, electric slide) along with a few requests. toss in a few disco songs too-like KC& the Sunshine band and the Gap band. don't forget some slow songs and of course Happy Birthday song too! ;)|||Well, if a lot of 50 year-old people will be there, you need to go with some old classic party songs that younger people probably already know too. You also have to play lots of different styles so there's something for everybody.
