if a form was filed stating a cannot afford to pay the 25 percent, or any of it & If your employer has released all of the funds back to you, what happens next? its been 1 year.|||A year? And the claimant hasn't attempted to garnish you again or to seize assets or bank accounts? Well, your next step is to simply have the judgement vacated or file suit for collateral attack of judgement. Having the judgement vacated is LOTS cheaper and easier, it's simply a motion before the court. Filing and prosecuting a direct or collateral attack of judgement is beyond you, you'd need an attorney (you never know, maybe legal aid?).

I'm betting that you aren't dumb. Being able to have a garnishment order reversed on a needs based exemption argument is no easy task. Bravo.

I guess that my best advice is to get your credit report at:

https://www.annualcreditreport.com/cra/i鈥?/a>

and look for the judgement on all 3 credit reports. If it doesn't show up, forget it and move on. If it does, try negotiating with the creditor, vacating the judgement, or filing an appeal (attack of judgement). You'll figure it out.|||Nothing happens next, unless you lied on the form.
Get on with your life, and stop worrying. Too much worry will soon make you ill.
